The Secretary of State has passed on to me your
letter of the 4th of June in connection with a suceesgor
to Sir Henry Gollan, and also as regards filling the post
01 Attorney General if Sir J. Kemp is appointed to succked
Sir Henry Goilan.
I write to say that the Secretary of State will be
prepared to subait Sir J. Kemp's name in due course to
succeed Sir Henry Gollan, and also that Mr. Alabaster's
nɛme will be considered, with others, for the Attorney-
Gener lship.
